Signature Craftsmanship

Craftsmanship sits at the heart of Jimmy Choo. Originating as an East London atelier specialising in custom-made shoes, the brand was later established in 1996 and has since grown into a global luxury accessory house where artisanal craft and emotional design are inseparable. Each piece that carries the Jimmy Choo name is made with the same care and precision that shaped its reputation from its earliest days. The collections are an alchemy of creativity, design and craft.

Designed In London

To this day, collections are designed in Jimmy Choo's London studio where the brand is headquartered, under the direction of Sandra Choi, whose constant creative oversight has shaped the brand's visual and emotional identity for three decades. This clarity of vision has given rise to silhouettes that endure long beyond the season in which they launch, becoming house icons in their own right. Their longevity is a testament to the quality of both craftsmanship and design, proof that a considered idea, made well, transcends seasons.

“In a world where everything moves so quickly, making something by hand reminds us to slow down. A beautifully crafted shoe or bag isn't designed for one season; it's designed to become part of someone's life. It develops character over time and tells its own story through wear. That's the enduring value of craftsmanship. It creates objects with longevity, authenticity and emotional resonance.”

Brought To Life In Florence

Production largely takes place in Florence, Italy, in close partnership with world-class suppliers who share the same standards of excellence: it’s also where the brand owns two factories. Skilled hands remain at the centre of the process, working in tandem with the latest technology and innovation to achieve an exceptional level of precision. It is this balance of artisanal skill elevated by modern methods that defines the house. That same spirit, born in an East London atelier, is still at the heart of every piece made today.

Pearl: A House Code

Throughout Jimmy Choo's 30-year legacy, pearls have played out across shoes and accessories in every guise, from the delicate to the defiant. More than a motif, the pearl is a house code: an emblem of wisdom and beauty gained through experience. Across the capsule collection, sculptural statement pieces and elevated everyday styles reinterpret the pearl through exceptional handwork and technical innovation, with forms echoing its natural shape, resin pearls, individually placed embellishments and intricate hand-embroidery celebrating its enduring beauty through texture and craft.
