Our Impact

The Jimmy Choo Foundation

The Jimmy Choo Foundation was established in 2011 as a non-profit charitable trust with a focus on empowering women and others, improving their quality of life through education and enterprise.

Today the Jimmy Choo Foundation is in its sixth year of partnership with Women for Women International. Previously, the Jimmy Choo Foundation has supported Lend With Care.

The Jimmy Choo Foundation does not work with any commercial organisations, academies or universities.

Our Partnership with Women for Women International

Jimmy Choo is proud to be in its sixth year of partnership with Women for Women International, raising over $1,000,000, providing crucial support for Women for Women International’s work.

Through their Stronger Women, Stronger Nations Programme, they build women’s capabilities in four key areas: earning and savings; rights and decision-making; health and wellness; and fostering support networks. Women receive hands-on vocational training in a variety of sectors and are supported to start small businesses, build networks, and take on leadership roles in their communities.

Throughout the six years of partnership, the brand has worked on a series of bespoke global activations. This includes participation in the annual #SheInspiresMe Car Boot Sale at Selfridges, London, in-store activations to highlight International Women’s Day, workshops and volunteering opportunities for staff and private events bringing together a community whilst raising awareness of Women for Women International’s mission.

This long-term partnership has made a tangible difference in the lives of over 1,500 women living in some of the world’s most dangerous places. Programmes provide them with access to crucial resources, training and support networks, enabling them to rebuild their lives and strengthen their communities after conflict. Since 1993, Women for Women International has invested in the power of over 616,000 women in 17 countries. Their Stronger Women, Stronger Nations programme has helped to achieve:

76% of women reported engaging in income-generating activities after completing the programme, with women’s average monthly net earnings increasing by 323%.

94% of women graduates reported having a knowledge of their rights, compared to only 52% before joining the programme. Additionally, 42% of women reported having used that knowledge to speak up in public about women's rights.

77% of women are participating in household financial decisions following programme graduation, compared to 33% before joining the programme.
