Company Profile

Jimmy Choo is a pioneering, luxury accessories house. Established in 1996, the brand originated as an East London atelier, specialising in hand-crafted shoes; today it’s a global powerhouse with artisanal craft at its heart and an aesthetic grounded in modern glamour.

The collections are conceived by Creative Director Sandra Choi, who has overseen the London-based design studio since the late 1990s after mastering the art of bespoke shoemaking from her uncle, Mr. Jimmy Choo. Sandra’s approach combines imagination and the joy of design with her incomparable expertise and innate understanding of product design. Each piece is designed in the London studio and brought to life by master artisans committed to upholding the highest standards of excellence; with the majority of production in the brand’s factories near Florence. Today, the collections encompass shoes, bags, accessories, jewellery, eyewear, and fragrance across men’s and women’s.

Frequently name-checked in era-defining television, film and music, Jimmy Choo has transcended fashion, becoming a recognised pop-culture phenomenon, uniquely dialled into the zeitgeist of the day. The brand’s reputation as a celebrity favourite helped to fuel its rapid expansion.

Beyond the red carpet and the world stage, the brand is valued by its global community, often playing a role in the most significant moments of their lives; from the professional to the personal, from the epic to the intimate, tastemakers and leaders among a diverse cohort trust Jimmy Choo to unlock a sense of self-confidence when needed most.

Together, Creative Director Sandra Choi and CEO Hannah Colman continue to drive the growth and evolution of the business. Encompassing more than 200 boutiques, Jimmy Choo also has a presence in the most prestigious department and specialty stores worldwide.  Jimmy Choo is part of the Capri Holdings Limited global fashion luxury group publicly listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker CPRI.
