Jimmy Choo with British Vogue and LuisaViaRoma: ‘Evolution of Icons’
Jimmy Choo was delighted to take part in the British Vogue and LuisaViaRoma’s ‘Evolution of Icons’ fashion show, in collaboration with Edward Enninful OBE, editor in chief of British Vogue and European editorial director of Condé Nast.
Set in the magnificent Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence, Italy, the event saw 50 of the world’s leading luxury brands take part in the exclusive fashion show. It was a showcase of reimagined pieces from each brand that emphasised their heritage and the future of design. This event was the much-anticipated second in a series, with the first taking place in 2019, which witnessed the gathering of over 4,000 exclusive guests and industry insiders.
Embracing the theme of this year’s instalment, the Jimmy Choo / LuisaViaRoma capsule presents new iterations of iconic Jimmy Choo shoes and handbags. These limited-edition pieces have been cast in bold crystals, distinctive glitter finishes and plush satin, all defined by a sultry palette of black, white, red, metallics and earthy tones.
A modern evolution of Jimmy Choo’s legendary Lance shoe, the Azia sandal is reimagined in rich, red satin for this collection along with a house signature, Saeda, which sees exquisite new finishes. The coveted Bon Bon adorned with a hand-finished Swarovski crystal handle is transformed in a standout snake print. The Diamond Talura pump, first introduced for Spring 2023, has been remastered in satin, giving this shoe an opulent new feel.
The exclusive capsule is available to shop now online and at select Jimmy Choo boutiques.
